Palpung Sherabling Monastic Seat is situated in the northern Indian Province of Himachal Pradesh, about 530 km away from Delhi. Himachal Pradesh in its north neighbors another India Province - Jammu and Kashmir. Tibetan Government in Exile in Dharamsala is also situated in Himachal Pradesh.

Foreigners usually go to Himachal Pradesh from Delhi because they arrive at India by airplane, and Delhi airport is the most convenient airport for most of them. There is local airport Gagal near Dharamsala, and not far from Palpung Sherabling. The detail is not introduced here because it seems very difficult to buy the airplane ticket.
