The need to establish Palpung Monastic Primary School

The education of sangha is very important for the lasting of dharma. Along with the development of the sangha in Palpung Sherabling, the software and hardware facilities of education are gradually becoming obviously insufficient. Right now, it becomes urgent to establish a new school for the schoolboys, because there are about 150 schoolboys attending their classes in the same classroom, it is crowded and incontinent for the teachings, and is unable to equip more facilities.

The coming school, including classrooms, a shrine hall, seating rooms, libraries, computer rooms, a dining hall etc., will have related facilities for 500 students of different grade.

The location of this project is in the front of the main monastery. Bo Gangkar Rinpoche is assigned by the 12th Kenting Tai Situpa to take charge of this project. The plan is completed at early of 2007 and will start soon.
