The monastic Sangha community and lay people from Rumtek, under Tsurphu Labrang, headed by H.E.Gyaltsab Rinpoche, Ven.Bakyodh Rinpoche, Bokar Khenpo and many other lamas who have completed retreat performed the Tsedrup Sangwa Dupa puja (or Guhyasamaja) of longevity for one week from 19th to 25th September at Gyuto Ramoche monastery (Upper Tantra Institute).

On 26th September the long life prayer and offering was made for H.H. the Seventeenth Gyalwang Karmapa and on that occasion the 12th Kenting Tai Situpa, H.E. Jamgon Kongtrul Rinpoche, H.E..Sangye Nyenpa Rinpoche and delegates and participants from many different places were invited as well. The ceremony started at 8 am and ended around 1 pm. All the participants offered elaborately and prayed with heart felt devotion for the long life of H.H. the Sevententh Gyalwang Karmapa Ogyen Trinley Dorje.
