On September 22nd, 2011, under the blessing of Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa, the Palpung Sherabling Monastic Seat Sangha conducted Monlam Prayers and offered one-hundred-thousand butter lamps dedicated to the people affected by the recent earthquake in Sikkim and Darjeeling in India as well as in Bhutan and Nepal.

May those who lost their lives have excellent rebirth and attain ultimate peace. May those families who lost loved ones or who were injured have a swift and full recovery back to normal life with happiness and joy.
