Guru Vajradhara Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa was very sad to hear the shocking news of Very Venerable Choje Akong Tulku Rinpoche and two assistants killed on the 8th of October 2013, first heard through the news and then confirmed by Venerable Choje Lama Yeshe Losal, Very Venerable Akong Tulku Rinpoche's brother.

Guru Vajradhara Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa immediately gave a condolence message to the entire Mandala associated with Very Venerable Choje Akong Tulku Rinpoche, including his family and relatives through his brother Venerable Choje Lama Yeshe Losal and his nephew Lama.

Venerable Choje Lama Yeshe Losal also received detailed advice from Guru Vajradhara Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa on how to arrange the 49 day ceremony that will be beneficial for fulfilling all the noble activities of the late Very Venerable Choje Akong Rinpoche and also for the swift rebirth of his incarnation without obstacles.

Guru Vajradhara Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa has prepared a written message in Tibetan and English and also a video message for the Sangha of Samye Ling Monastery, affiliated Samye Dzong Centers in the world, Rogpa Charitable Trustees, Tara Therapy Trustees, supporters, volunteers and disciples of the late Very Venerable Choje Akong Tulku Rinpoche to encourage them to continue all the noble activities of the late Akong Tulku Rinpoche. One of the most important activities of the late Akong Tulku Rinpoche is the approximately 200 schools established around Tibet and Nepal that has to be carried on by the trustees and supporters because it provides education to thousands of children and has the potential to create a bright and meaningful future for tens of thousands of children of the younger and upcoming generations.

Guru Vajradhara Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa also advised and encouraged Venerable Choje Lama Yeshe Losal and Miss Lea Wyler from Switzerland who holds the main responsibility for fulfilling the work of Rokpa Charity under the late Akong Tulku Rinpoche through telephone to continue the humanitarian and educational work and the Tara Rokpa therapy and medical activities which were one of the main activities that the late Very Venerable Choje Akong Tulku Rinpoche dedicated his life to.

Under Guru Vajradhara Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa's instructions and blessing, Palpung Monastic Seat Palpung Sherab Ling, Palpung Thubten Chokhor Ling conducted 49 days of puja dedicated to the late Very Venerable Choje Akong Tulku Rinpoche. Also, lighting of 100,000 butter lamps started today at Palpung Sherabling. At the same time, Palpung Dharma centers and study groups in various parts of the world are doing their part to organize prayers for the late Very Venerable Choje Akong Tulku Rinpoche for all his noble activities and for the swift return of his incarnation to continue Dharma activities to benefit all sentient beings.
