Guru Vajradhara Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa spoke to the assembly of more than 400 members of sangha and international students at Tergar Monastery in Bodhgaya about Malaysian Airlines Flight 370 with 239 passengers. Guru Vajradhara requested everyone to make dedications and aspirations with a pure mind and pure attitude so that those who have died not to fall into the lower realms and instead be brought to liberation and omniscience and for the benefit of all the related families and friends currently going through great suffering.

Special prayers were conducted at the main shrine hall at Tergar Monastery by sangha and international students and 10,000 butter lamps were lit at the Mahabodhi Stupa which were mainly dedicated to the passengers of the airplane and all those effected by the tragedy.
