Remark: The Actual consecration and inauguration of Shedra will be held at later date when main shrine hall is completed.

Early in the morning of the 6th of May 2014, all the Khenpos and sangha members prepared to shift to other building blocks for the Palpung Higher Buddhist Studies (Palpung Shedra Lungrig Jamphel Ling) by arranging all 102 volumes of the Kangyur text (translated sacred words of the Buddha) and the statue of Shakyamuni Buddha on the altar in the elaborate traditional manner.

All the sangha of Palpung Sherabling Monastic Seat welcomed Guru Vajradhara Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa in the gathering hall of the new Palpung Higher Buddhist Studies (Palpung Shedra Lungrig Jamphel Ling) to lead the purification and consecration traditional rituals. Guru Vajradhara blessed the gathering with a dharma teaching on the most effective applications of the human life and other very sacred advice. Guru Vajradhara also gave prizes to the top students of each class and appointed the new discipline master (Chutrimpa) for Palpung Higher Buddhist Studies (Palpung Shedra Lungrig Jamphel Ling) and Palpung University of Buddhist Science (Palpung Riglop Dhonnyi Norbui Gyatsal). Everyone was so blessed at this sacred gathering. The ceremony was held on a sacred and auspicious day.

Afterwards, Guru Vajradhara visited and consecrated the old age home and clinic and, Palpung Riglam Kyedtsel, the young monks' school at Palpung Sherabling Monastic Seat.

Guru Vajradhara visited the Shedra, old age home and clinic and young monks' school to purify and consecrate these three lots of buildings and granted permission for these structures to begin to be occupied and moved in as previously planned.
