Over two days from the 30th to 31st of October 2014, as previously scheduled, Guru Vajradhara Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa bestowed ordination vows at Palpung Sherabling Monastic Seat. On the 30th of October 2014, over 150 monks and nuns mainly from Palpung Sherabling Monastic Seat and also many people from Nepal and Europe took novice ordination from Guru Vajradhara and on the 31st of October more than 50 novice monks took full ordination (bikkhu) from Guru Vajradhara.

Many of those individuals taking ordination were from Nepal, Europe and other countries and came after travelling long distances with sincere faith and longing to receive this precious ordination from Guru Vajradhara and now they are content with receiving this pure lineage of ordination from the lineage master.
