On the 27th of May 2015, Guru Vajradhara Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa travelled to Kullu where Palpung Yeshe Rabgye Ling Nunnery is located.

On the 28th of May 2015, Guru Vajradhara inspected all the recently built sections of the Nunnery and also visited ongoing construction of the main monastery site and blessed all the mandalas of the nunnery. The Palpung Yeshe Rabgye Ling nunnery project started 3 years ago and is still ongoing.

At the same time, the nuns are learning and practicing various subjects ranging from basic knowledge of Tibetan Buddhism and language to higher Buddhist philosophy and monastic ritual rites diligently under the guidance of Venerable Khenpos and Lamas.

A few senior nuns have completed the traditional 3 year retreat and several nuns are presently in Jangchup Samtenling Nuns Retreat Centre at Palpung Sherabling Monastic Seat.
