On the 20th of June 2015, Palpung Lungrig Jampal Ling Buddhist Higher Studies of Palpung Sherabling Monastic Seat held a grand event on the 4th day of the 5th month according to the Kalachakra calendar. It is the day when Buddha turned the first wheel of dharma which is the teaching commonly known as the Four Noble Truths. On this very auspicious day, the appointment of new Khenpos, assistant teachers, discipline master and whole set of staff were appointed under the blessing of Guru Vajradhara Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa. All of the sangha of Palpung Sherabling Monastic Seat attended this major event at the main shrine hall of Palpung Lungrig Jampal Ling College of Higher Buddhist Studies and also received teachings and pith instructions from Guru Vajradhara.

On the evening of this same day, Guru Vajradhara continued his sacred retreat.
