Palpung Choeying Foundation's Directors and members are long time devotees of the Buddha Dharma and especially connected under the lineage of the Kamtsang Kagyu School. Some of the directors and devotees are long standing students of Guru Vajradhara Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa during his first visit in Malaysia in the 1980's.

Among them, the Dato and Datin Eng family are students of Guru Vajradhara Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa and very sincerely took great interest to establish the seed of the Dharma in Kajang in the form of a monastic seat for Palpung Sherabling under Guru Vajradhara Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa and many few older members and students also united with the same devotion.

The Dato and Datin Eng Family dedicated a plot of land to build Palpung Choeying Monastery under the blessing of Guru Vajradhara Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa. In line with their dedication many years ago, as a first step, they built one grand beautiful physical stupa under the guidance of Venerable Samten Rinpoche from Palpung and later also a special puja was conducted by Palpung Sherabling Lamas led by Venerable Khenpo Tsulnam Rinpoche and Lama Tenam, the private secretary of Guru Vajradhara .

A few years back, the Dato Eng Family came to New Delhi, India and discussed the project of Palpung monastery in Kajang , Malaysia and all the important ideas and blessings were granted for the monastery project by Guru Vajradhara.

In this year, the Dato and Datin Eng family and long standing dedicated student Mrs Kua visited Palpung Sherabling Monastic seat and spent a few days and discussed with Guru Vajradhara Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa regarding the final schedule of ground breaking and laying foundations of Palpung monastery in Kajang and organized Lama from Palpung Sherabling to go for the ground breaking ceremony.

20/7/2015 –

Venerable Lama Tsering & Lama Gyalpo arrived in Malaysia safely.

20/7/2015 –

Venerable Lamas visited site with DatoEng, Datin Eunice, Mrs Kua & committee members to discuss arrangement for coming praying activities.

21/7/2015 –

Lama visited Palpung Choeying new office. The participants in the meeting managed & reorganized things properly & neatly in place. Now office looks nicer and ready for use.

22/7/2015 –

Lama gave blessing to new office & prepared for planting precious vase from Guru Vajradhara Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa at site on 23/7/2015.

23/7/2015 –

Lama completed the planting of Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa precious vase at site.

24/7/2015 –

Lama completed the Mandala & Sang Puja at 26/7 - Sang Puja & Long Tak.

27/7/2015 –

Guru Rinpoche Puja & Palpung Choeying Monastery foundation laying was done.
