On the very auspicious day of November 10, 2015 The Very Venerable Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche arrived at Palpung Sherabling Monastic Seat after his extensive solitary retreat. Following in the footsteps of great Kagyu master like Milarepa, at the various holy caves for more than four years. The Very Venerable Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche then returned to his Guru Vajradhara Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa who is the incarnation the Marpa the great in year 1012, the custodian of Kamtsang Kagyu (12th century) and founder of 300 years old non-sectarian Palpung (Mount of Excellence) Institution.

During this meeting The Very Venerable Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche made traditional Mandala offering followed by body speech and mind offering representations to Guru Vajradhara Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa.

In turn Guru Vajradhara greeted Very Venerable Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche traditionally and it was manifestation of profoundest joy for both of them. Those who were present reminded the same blessing as the meeting between Marpa and Milarepa nearly 1000 years ago.

In the main shrine hall the Palpung Labrang offered The Very Venerable Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche the traditional ceremony of Mandala Kusung Thukten. After this all the Sangha of Palpung Monastic Seat and devotees from nearby communities and other parts of world who came also received blessing from Very Venerable Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche at the Palpung Sherabling Monastic Seat. The day ended auspiciously with lots of blessings and aspiration.
