(A talk presented by BUDDH JYOTI Foundation in Association with Nehru Memorial Museum and Library)

On Sunday, 9 April, 2017, Guru Vajradhara Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa was invited by BUDDH JYOTI Foundation to give a talk on the topic of "Shoonyata" at Nehru Memorial Museum and Library in New Delhi.

The program started with a tea and snacks session at 10:30 am. Guests were invited to enjoy a well-prepared snack box with chai by the organizers while engaging small chats in the pleasant ground of Nehru Memorial Museum and Library.

At 11:00 am, the Grammy Award winning Monks from Palpung Sherabling Monastic Seat performed a sacred chant of the Auspicious Prayers followed by a chant of Prajanaparamitta in Pali by a lady group of three.

A welcome speech was addressed by Sh. Shakti Shinha, Director of Nehru Memorial Museum and Library. Guru Vajradhara's speech started at approximately 11:30 am which lasted about 45 minutes. He gave a very concise yet powerful speech on this deep subject of what Buddha taught as his second turning wheel of dharma with simple examples for the audience to grasp glimpses of the concept "Shoonyata" which is often referred as Emptiness. After the speech, the audience enthusiastically participated at the Q&A session where many great questions were asked which were brilliantly responded by Guru Vajradhara who shared not only his in depth academic knowledge on emptiness, his sharp observation and concerns on the subject of environmental protection, his view of Active Peace and his practical advice on balancing spiritual and mundane worlds.

The house full audience were genuinely inspired and spiritually satisfied by the great talk from Guru Vajradhara. Many lingered around eagerly exchanging their admiration and inspiration. The well received event ended around 12:35 am.
