In the evening of 11 April, 2017 as part of the Closing Ceremony of the Inner Path Festival of Buddhist Films, Art and Philosophy, Guru Vajradhara was invited to attend the last two programs of the festival: the audio CDs release of Guru Vajradhara's dohas and the showing of Mount of Excellence.

In responding to the host's request, Guru Vajradhara gave a talk about "what is life" and the purpose of life. He tackled the definition of life from its relative truth and ultimate truth aspects. The purpose of life according to Guru Vajradhara is to fully awaken and mature the basic potential of each and every one of us. He then further elaborated on how to achieve this goal.

Next Guru Vajradhara talked about the lyrics of the songs and the dohas he composed in the audio CDs and where the influence and inspiration came from. He explained that dohas are traditionally written in pairs of two sentences which are expressions of spiritual experience or spiritual insight. Then a group of local and foreign musicians performed a collection of songs and dohas from the album.

After the live performance, a showing of Mount of Excellence, the documentary film of Palpung marked the closing of the festival. The guests and hosts together enjoyed a wonderful evening full of spiritual nourishment in the manifestation of Guru Vajradhara's music and film with the presence of Guru Vajradhara. What else can one top a magical evening like this?
