On the very sacred request from Kyabje Sangye Nyenpa Rinpoche for over two days from the 9th to 10th of June 2017, as scheduled, Guru Vajradhara Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa bestowed ordination vows at Palpung Sherabling Monastic Seat especially to the monks of Benchen Higher Buddhist Studies (Shedra). On the 9th of June 2017, over 140 monks and nuns mainly from Palpung Sherabling Monastic Seat and also many people took novice ordination from Guru Vajradhara and on the 10th June, more than 50 novice monks took full ordination (bhikkhu) from Guru Vajradhara.

They came after traveling long distances with sincere faith and longing to receive this precious ordination from Guru Vajradhara and now they are content with receiving this pure lineage of ordination from the lineage master.
