As organized every year with the permission from the Ministry of Health, Government of Himachal Pradesh, Palpung Munishasan Dharmachakra Sangh arranged a free medical eye camp at Udaipur Civil Hospital District Lahaul-Spiti in Himachal Pradesh, India from the 24th to 26th of June 2017.

Lama Tashi Dhondup (head of Palpung Sherabling Health Center) traveled to the eye camp in Udaipur with full support and a complete medical team from the Rotary Eye Hospital Maranda, Palampur Himachal Pradesh headed by Dr. Rohit Sharma (Eye Surgeon) and Dr. Siddarth (Eye Surgeon).

The free medical eye camp of 2017 was completed as part of the continuation of the selfless activities of Guru Vajradhara Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa. This year a total of 356 people came for a check-up at the free medical eye camp this year. Some patients needed lens glasses, some needed medicine, and some needed operations. 92 patients received lens glasses and 21 patients had an eye operation. All the required operations were done at Udaipur Civil's Hospital.
