Guru Vajradhara The 12th Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa continues with the 100-day Mahamudra transmission by gradually transmitting experiential instructions and meditations according to the teaching and practice sessions of Mahamudra Ocean of Certainty, making the profound meaning very easy for everyone to understand by using daily life examples. At the moment all the participants are diligently practicing the meditations on the common preliminaries, the four thoughts that turn the mind away from samsara.

The source of this Mahamudra transmission is the great Mahasiddha Saraha, the forefather of all Mahasiddhas, who first revealed the Secret Treasury of Vajradhara. The lineage of Mahamudra was later transmitted by Lord Maitripa to the Great Translator Marpa. Subsequently, Lord Gampopa combined that gradual path of Mahamudra, which is the quintessence of the Ocean of Tantras and the heart essence of a million Dakinis, with Lord Atisha’s teachings on renunciation, bodhicitta and mind training, thus introducing the Blessing Lineage of the practice of the combined tradition of the Kadampa and Mahamudra teachings.
