On February 28, Guru Vajradhara the 12th Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa granted an audience to a large group from the Tibetan Children’s Village Senior Secondary School in the nearby village of Suja, which included the School’s principal, headmaster, both senior and junior teachers and over three hundred class 10 and class 12 graduate students.

Guru Vajradhara first gave an extensive general teaching for the whole audience, followed by special instructions directed to the graduate students. He talked about the importance of cultivating pure intention as a compass to guide their life and about developing a strong determination to preserve their culture. He also emphasized that in order to accomplish something beneficial for oneself and others, one needs to respect the law of karma, study diligently, nurture their innate abilities and develop unshakable determination. Therefore, he advised, they need to do their best to always keep these principles in their hearts.
