Guru Vajradhara delivered the lecture to a large audience, which included the Chancellor, academics, students and the general public in Subharti University's main auditorium. He spoke about the need to use our exceptional human intelligence to nurture our inherent universal human values. He especially called upon the younger generation to develop a strong determination to use their knowledge and ability to create a more stable and peaceful society, and to strive to serve the humanity by following the heroic examples of great sages of the past, such as Swami Vivekanand.

He said that the study of Buddhist philosophy and meditation is essential for achieving the lasting happiness of liberation and omniscience, as well as the happiness and well-being in this life. At the end of the lecture he also answered some questions from the students and presented medals and certificates to meritorious students, who participated in co-curricular activities.
