Guru Vajradhara established Palpung Yeshe Rabgye Ling Nunnery with the vision for it to become a nunnery dedicated to both study and practice of the Buddha’s teachings. Following its exceptional curriculum that combines learning with meditation, on March 14, 2021 the nunnery’s khenpos along with the entire monastic community began the first seven-day Vajravarahi drubchö ritual. They performed this ritual of Vajravarahi, the mother of all buddhas, by integrating pith instructions of the gurus with traditional methods of practice under the guidance of the monastic seat’s lamas, chanting and shrine masters, and visual transmission teachers.
