From March 21 to 27, 2021, a one-week Chakrasamvara drubchö ritual based on the Oral Transmission of the Dakinis was conducted at Palpung Yeshe Rabgye Ling Nunnery, which is located in the proximity of Kulluta, a sacred place of Chakrasamvara and one of the twenty-four major vajrayana sacred places.

Guru Vajradhara the 12th Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa presided over the ceremony of opening the mandala, and also in attendance was his one-hundred-year-old tutor Lama Lodrö Özer Rabgye.

This Chakrasamvara ritual of the Oral Transmission of the Dakinis is a mother tantra that was bestowed by the mahapandita Naropa to Marpa Chökyi Lodrö at Pullahari Monastery, then transmitted as a single lineage to Marpa’s heart disciple Milarepa and maintained uninterrupted up to today. All elements of the ritual were performed and successfully completed by the monastic seat’s visual transmission teachers, along with the nunnery’s khenpos and the entire monastic community.
