On April 5, 2021, Guru Vajradhara the 12th Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa received the first dose of the Covishield Covid-19 vaccine at the Community Health Centre in Bir, a branch of the Department of Health and Family Welfare in Himachal Pradesh.
