In the morning of February 17, 2024, which marks 71 years since Guru Vajradhara His Holiness the 12th Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa's physical manifestation was born on this Earth, his birthday celebration, began with the entire monastic community of Palpung Sherabling Monastic Seat performing a smoke offering ritual, followed by the offering of a mandala along with representations of the Buddha's body, speech, and mind in front of Guru Vajradhara's throne. After that, traditional tea and sweet rice were distributed to everyone present. Guru Vajradhara's birthday celebration was then concluded with a contemporary celebration, which included birthday cakes, auspicious wishes, and longevity prayers.
