On June 14, 2018, Guru Vajradhara the 12th Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa was welcomed to the main temple of the Palpung Sherabling Monastic College by a large gathering of Khenpos, teachers, students, staff, monks, nuns and lay people. The graduation ceremony began with melodious chants of verses of auspiciousness, an elaborate mandala offering and a presentation of the five auspicious circumstances. After the new Khenpos offered a debate on the five major scriptures, Guru Vajradhara performed their enthronement ceremony and presented them with appointment letters and red protection ribbons. He also bestowed diploma certificates to students who have completed their studies, appointed new Acharyas and gave a teaching on the importance of doing whatever we can to continually improve the quality of our education system.
