On 7th of Feb. 2008, the first day of the New Year of the Phuglug calendar, Kenting Tai Situpa paid a visit to His Holiness 17th Gyalwang Karmapa Ogyen Trinley Dorje, that afternoon, to convey his wishes for a Happy New Year. The two spent several hours together celebrating the Tibetan New Year.
