From December 19 to 21, His Holiness the Dalai Lama presided over the First Conference of Scholars of Different Traditions on Je Tsongkhapa's 'Essence of True Eloquence' at the Kirti Samye encampment in Bodhgaya. The meeting was organised by the Kirti Jepa Monastery and the Kirti Trust. Khenpo Pema, the head khenpo of Palpung Sherabling Monastic College, was one of the speakers, while Khenpo Thubten Karma, Acharya Choseng, Acharya Dawa Tsering and Kyorpön Trinley Tsering participated in the debates. Thus, they represented the Palpung Sherabling Monastic Seat at this historic conference.
