From January 6 to 8, the Palpung Sherabling Monastic Primary School annual exams were carried out under the caring supervision of the school’s principal and teachers. Young students from Upper Kindergarten up to Class 6 sat for exams on: reading and writing Tibetan; texts on Tibetan spelling and grammar such as the Thirty Verses and the Guide to Signs; and in English, Hindi and mathematics.

The annual examination was concluded on January 12 with oral exams on memorizing morning and evening prayers, as well as on Tibetan grammar root texts.
