As the result of the collective effort and shared responsibility of all the teachers and students of Palpung Sherabling Tantric College, this year’s classes on the performance of rituals have been successfully completed. Following that, from January 1 onwards annual ritual performance exams were conducted for ten days on the following subjects: memorizing the liturgical procedures and chanting sequences of various group assembly sadhana practices such as the 13 great mandalas of the oral transmission of the lineage of Lord Marpa and other old and new tantras practiced in the Palpung tradition; making tormas and ornaments along with their arrangements; playing various ritual instruments such as white and red conches, and flutes of various sizes; drawingproportion designs and making sand mandalas; as well as performing sacred vajra dances and related rituals.
