Palpung Yeshe Rabgye Ling Nunnery is situated near Kuluta, a sacred place of Chakrasamvara and one of the twenty-four sacred places and thirty-two sacred sites of Vajrayana Buddhism. At the request of its teachers and students, beginning in the first days of November and continuing whenever his schedule allowed, Guru Vajradhara the 12th Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa bestowed instructions on the new daily practice of restoring and purifying the three sets of vows that he had recently composed in response to appeals from several disciples. To the entire community of nuns, Guru Vajradhara gave the reading transmission of the text and taught about the three sets of vows, which refer to the pratimoksha vows, the bodhisattva vows and the tantric samayas, how to keep them and how to restore their impairments.
