On November 20, the specialized visual transmission teachers of Palpung Sherabling headed by Chungpo Gyalton Rinpoche, lamas in charge of several Dharma centers in Kullu, as well as the khenpos, teachers, staff, and the entire community of nuns gathered in the main temple of the Palpung Yeshe Rabgye Ling Nunnery. Guru Vajradhara the 12thChamgon Kenting Tai Situpa was then escorted into the temple by a procession of monks carrying incense. After he ascended the throne,the assembly chanted verses of auspiciousness, and a mandala along with the three supports was offered to Guru Vajradhara, followed by an offering of tea and sweet rice.

After that, Guru Vajradhara rewarded the students who achieved the best results in the year 2019 annual examination, and appointed the nunnery’s new discipline master, discipline assistants, and other staff members. Then he also presented the revised code of conduct, the schedule of regular daily, monthly, and annual ceremonies, as well as a new curriculum for the study of classic texts, sciences, and rituals, along with a new tradition of different levels of graduation and title assignments up to the level of a specialized teacher.
