Having completed all preliminary, actual practice, and concluding stages of the two-month Mahamudra meditation retreat, in the morning of January 13, 2021 the entire monastic community of Palpung Sherabling Monastic Seat performed the final thanksgiving ceremony in the main temple of the Palpung Sherabling Monastic College. They began by circumambulating the temple three times in a peaceful, disciplined, and mindful manner with an attitude of devotion, a mind of renunciation, and the motivation of bodhicitta.

They conducted the meditations and recitations of all elements of the ritual of restoring and purifying the three sets of vows (Domsum Sojong) compiled by Guru Vajradhara the 12th Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa. Then, in front of beautifully arranged offerings of the five enjoyments along with clouds of other offerings, both actually set out and mentally emanated, they concluded this virtuous Dharma activity with a ganachakra feast offering based on the guru yoga of Lord Marpa the Translator, the forefather of the practice lineage.
