H.H. the Gyalwang Karmapa Orgyen Trinley Dorje, the embodiment of the enlightened activities of the buddhas of the three times, instructed all monasteries to conduct this year’s Kagyu Monlam at their individual locations by joining online Aspirations to End Adversity, led by himself, for the pacification of the Covid-19 pandemic and other difficulties. Therefore, at 6:30 pm from January 20 to 27, 2021, tulkus, lamas, khenpos, monks, and nuns of Palpung Sherabling Monastic Seat and Palpung Yeshe Rabgye Ling Nunnery are participating in these online prayers for the flourishing of the Buddhadharma and the well-being of sentient beings, especially dedicated for the pacification and dispelling of sicknesses, wars, famines, natural disasters, and all other misfortunes, as well as for the elimination of all adversities.
