Under the guidance of Guru Vajradhara the 12th Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa, several drubchö rituals of the thirteen tantras of Lord Marpa’s tradition are being practiced alternately each year at the monastic seat of Palpung Sherabling. Disregarding his own body and life, the king of translators Marpa, Hevajra in human form, brought these tantras from India.
On March 6, 2021, headed by the vajra master Lama Karma Chödzin the entire monastic community of the Tantric College began the drubchö rituals by practicing the sadhana of the mother tantra of Hevajra, Lord Marpa’s main yidam deity, which will be followed by other sadhanas according to this year’s schedule, such as Buddhakapala, Chakrasamvara, and other deities.
