With permission from the Central and the Local Government of India, Palpung Munishasan Dharma Chakra Sangh charitable society organized and sponsored the vaccination of khenpos, teachers, the majority of the nuns, and workers of Palpung Yeshe Rabgye Ling Nunnery.

The required amount of the Covishield vaccine was purchased in advance from Fortis Hospital in Kangra, one of the top hospitals in Himachal Pradesh, a specialized doctor along with a team of nurses and other health workers was invited to the nunnery, and on June 29, 2021, about seventy members of the community between the ages of 18 and 44 received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine.
