Palpung Munishasan Dharma Chakra Sangh charitable society organized the second dose Covid-19 vaccination for Palpung Sherabling monks, nuns, and workers, as well as some local people with a connection to the monastic seat. A team of health workers was invited to the monastic seat to conduct the vaccination, and on September 20 and 22, 2021 about four hundred members of the community above the age of 18 received the second dose of the Covid-19 vaccine provided by the Indian government.
