Seeing the importance of establishing a specialized diploma course in Sanskrit at the monastic seat's University of Buddhist Sciences, Guru Vajradhara H.H. Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa assigned seven students from the monastic seat's Primary School to this course and defined a special curriculum for its preliminary classes. Following that, on September 29, 2021, the great Sanskrit professor and master scholar Nangyal Ati Sherab Nyima, who has mastered all fields of knowledge and gained confidence in their understanding and exposition, gathered together with teachers and students of the Sanskrit department for a ceremony to mark the beginning of the preliminary classes. The program began with the chanting of aspiration prayers to proclaim words of truth and auspiciousness and supplications to the Three Jewels, followed by the master professor's lecture, in which he explained how to follow a spiritual teacher and what is the best way study while relating it to his own experience, and the appointment of teaching assistants.
