On October 24, 2021, Guru Vajradhara H.H. the 12th Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa bestowed both the preparatory ritual and the main part of the profound empowerment of the great glorious Vajrakilaya based on the terma titled The Ultimate Heart Essence of the Most Secret Unsurpassable Dagger, which was discovered by the emanated tertön Ratna Lingpa, one of the eight principal revealers of hidden treasures who were glorified in numerous prophecies by the lotus-born Padmakara, the second Buddha of Oddiyana. The empowerment took place at Palpung Sherabling Monastic Seat's main shrine hall in the presence of the monastic seat's tulkus, lamas, khenpos, and acharyas, along with its entire monastic community.
