On November 12, 2021, Palpung University of Buddhist Sciences' Wellness Store was inaugurated. Its opening ceremony took place in front of Palpung Sherabling Monastic Seat's bookstore, where in the presence of the monastic seat's incarnate master Chungpo Gyalton Rinpoche and directors and staff of several departments, the university's principal Aepa Sonam Rinchen presented a lecture on how the Buddhist sciences of medicine and astrology can contribute to maintaining both physical and mental well-being, as well as the benefits, purpose, and utilization of each medical and astrological product available at the store. The program was concluded with Chungpo Gyalton Rinpoche's discourse, in which he commended the way medicine and astrology are being maintained through both study and practical application and emphasized the need to continue preserving and developing these sciences.
