On April 6, 2022, about sixty students of Palpung Sherabling Monastic Seat's Monastic Primary School between the ages of 12 and 14 received the first dose of the Corbevax Covid-19 vaccine. The vaccination was organized by Palpung Munishasan Dharma Chakra Sangh, while the vaccine was provided by the Government of India and administered by a medical team from the Mahakal Primary Health Center in Baijnath.
