At the repeated requests of Palpung Sherabling Monastic Seat and its branch Palpung Yeshi Rabgyeling Nunnery, along with many other related devotees, on April 12 and 13, 2022, Guru Vajradhara H.H. the 12th Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa bestowed ordination in the main shrine hall of Palpung Sherabling Monastic College to 152 male and female devotees, who thus became supreme vessels for traversing the path to liberation.

On the first day, Guru Vajradhara, who is himself an upholder of the monastic vows, conducted the ceremony of bestowing Getsul (novice) ordination to 127 male and female devotees according to the doctrine of Vinaya in the manner of being both ordaining preceptor and ceremonial master, assisted by an assembly of a required number of monks serving as the interviewer, assistant preceptor, and so forth.

On the following day, Guru Vajradhara, along with the mandatory number of assisting monks, bestowed Gelong (full) ordination to 25 monastics through the four-fold ritual of one request and three proclamations.
