Under the guidance and supervision of all the teachers who possess extensive knowledge of Buddhist sciences in general and especially of the sciences of grammar, poetics, medicine, and astrology, this academic year's classes at the monastic seat's Palpung University of Buddhist Sciences have been successfully completed.
From December 10 to 14, 2025, over the course of five days, all students underwent the annual examinations on the difficult points of medicine, astrology, and grammar. The third-batch students of medicine and astrology took theoretical and practical exams on the medical and astrological treatises according to their curriculum. The second-batch students of Sanskrit grammar were tested on "Situ's Great Commentary on 'The Thirty Verses' and 'The Application of Gender Signs,'" "The Lamp of Speech: An Orthographical Dictionary," poetics, "The Treasury of Knowledge," Sanskrit and Hindi languages, and the Drutsa calligraphic script.
