In response to requests from WALUBI (All-Indonesia Federation of Buddhist Organizations), Palpung Indonesia, and numerous devoted individuals, Guru Vajradhara His Holiness Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa arrived at Yogyakarta International Airport in Indonesia on January 6, 2026. Upon his arrival, he was welcomed by representatives from WALUBI, directors of Palpung Indonesia and Palpung Malaysia, along with numerous tulkus, khenpos, and devoted followers. Following his arrival, Guru Vajradhara proceeded to Graha Palpung Padmasambhava in Borobudur,

On January 8, 2026, Guru Vajradhara His Holiness Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa presided over the grand consecration ceremony of Graha Palpung Padmasambhava, located near the sacred site of Borobudur.

Guru Vajradhara performed the rituals of purification, consecration, and blessing for both the outer structures of the temple and its inner sacred representations. The General Secretary then delivered an address commemorating the occasion, after which Guru Vajradhara auspiciously concluded the consecration ceremony by bestowing guidance and advice on ethical conduct to the assembled devotees.

On January 9 and 10, 2026, at Graha Palpung Padmasambhava, Guru Vajradhara His Holiness Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa bestowed teachings entitled “The Wisdom for a Meaningful Life” to devoted disciples from many countries around the world. These teachings were offered in response to a joint request and under the auspices of the All-Indonesia Federation of Buddhist Organizations (WALUBI) and Palpung Indonesia.

On January 11, 2026, at Graha Palpung Padmasambhava, Guru Vajradhara His Holiness Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa conferred the empowerment of the Buddha’s regent, the tenth-bhumi bodhisattva Lord Maitreya. In connection with the empowerment, Guru Vajradhara offered guidance, advice, and teachings. Moreover, in response to the wishes of many faithful aspirants, Guru Vajradhara graciously bestowed the refuge vows.

On January 18, 2026, at the Jakarta International Expo Convention Centre and Theatre, Guru Vajradhara His Holiness Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa conferred the empowerment of the exalted Four-Armed Avalokiteshvara, upon a gathering of devoted disciples. The assembly included tulkus, lamas, and monastics from all traditions, as well as faithful devotees who had traveled from regions near and far. He also bestowed the refuge vows upon numerous sincere aspirants.

In response to the invitation and request of Universitas Buddhi Dharma in Karawaci, Tangerang, Guru Vajradhara His Holiness Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa graciously visited the institution. On this occasion, he addressed the university's teachers, staff, and students, together with local dignitaries, representatives of various organizations, and faithful members of the public who had gathered from near and far.

Speaking on the theme of "Blessing Indonesia for World Peace," Guru Vajradhara emphasized that peace is the foundation for the vitality and survival of both the outer environment and its inhabitants, and that genuine peace arises not merely from views and aspirations, but from actual practice and implementation.
