On the morning of February 25, 2026, marking the auspicious occasion of the 73rd birthday of Guru Vajradhara His Holiness Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa, the entire monastic community of Palpung Sherabling Monastic Seat performed a smoke offering ritual. Thereafter, Guru Vajradhara was escorted to the great shrine hall, where he took his seat upon the throne. A mandala, together with representations of the Buddha's body, speech, and mind was offered to him, accompanied by the recitation of auspicious verses. Traditional ceremonial tea and sweet rice were then served to the entire assembly of resident and visiting monastics and lay devotees.
The celebration concluded with the offering of cakes and sweets, together with the recitation of birthday felicitation verses, longevity prayers, and invocations of the power of truth, after which all those assembled received individual blessings from Guru Vajradhara.
