On the morning of February 25, 2026, marking 73 years since Guru Vajradhara, His Holiness Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa, was born into this world, a birthday celebration took place at Palpung Yeshi Rabgyeling Nunnery.

The monastic community began the festivities with a smoke offering ritual, followed by a mandala, together with representations of the Buddha's body, speech, and mind was offered to his throne, accompanied by the recitation of auspicious verses. Traditional ceremonial tea and sweet rice were then served to the entire assembly of resident and visiting monastics and lay devotees.

The celebration concluded with the offering of cakes and sweets, together with the recitation of birthday felicitation verses, longevity prayers, and invocations of the power of truth
