Today, July 29, 2026, the monastic community of Palpung Sherabling Monastic Seat joined Kagyu monasteries across India, Nepal, and Bhutan in commemorating the Mahaparinirvana of Lord Gampopa—the sun-like heart disciple of the Lord of Yogis, Milarepa—via webcast. The ceremony included the recitation of the Gampopa Guru Sadhana, a ganachakra offering, butter-lamp offerings, and traditional “Full Moon” ceremonial music performed on the monastery rooftop.
