Upon the completion of the summer retreat at Palpung Sherabling Monastic Seat in India, the monastic community traditionally spends several days enjoying picnics and celebrations. In keeping with this custom, on the morning of September 27, 2026, the first day of the festivities, Guru Vajradhara His Holiness Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa graciously attended as the guest of honor.

The master and disciples shared a midday meal together, after which Guru Vajradhara offered guidance and advice to the entire assembly on how to conduct themselves in their daily thoughts and actions. In particular, he offered prayers of aspiration and dedicated the merit for all the people affected by the recent devastating mudslide on the Nepal–Tibet border.
