From October 8 to 12, 2026, Guru Vajradhara His Holiness Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa bestowed the transmission of White Tara Wish-Fulfilling Wheel over the course of five days at Palpung Sherabling Monastic Seat in India.

Organized by the Palpung Institute of Buddhist Studies in response to requests from a number of devoted disciples and many other interested practitioners, the transmission was attended by Dharma students from countries around the world.

The transmission focused on the exalted White Tara Wish-Fulfilling Wheel that Bestows Longevity from “The Tantra of the Origin of Tara,” the goddess of long life, supreme bestower of wealth, mother of wisdom, and great treasury of compassion, who belongs to the mother tantra division of the unsurpassed yoga tantra class. Based on the sadhana that represents the confluence of all rivers of transmissions, the great omniscient eighth Tai Situ Tenpe Nyinje’s daily practice of White Tara, Guru Vajradhara graciously bestowed the general pith instructions on how to practice the visualizations and recitations of White Tara. In particular, he gave practical instructions on the meditations of the creation and completion stages; the mantras and mudras; the substances and ritual implements; and the appropriate observances regarding food and conduct. In addition, Guru Vajradhara bestowed extraordinary sacred oral instructions beneficial for recognizing the signs of progress on the path and enhancing the practitioners’ meditative experiences and realizations.
