On May 19, 2019, Guru Vajradhara the 12th Chamgon Tai Situpa presided over the announcement ceremony in the monastery courtyard of the annual exam results of vari ous education departments of Palpung Sherabling Monastic Seat, such as the Tantric College, Monastic College, University of Buddhist Sciences, Poetics and Grammar Department and the Monastic Primary School. In the presence of all teachers and students, the headmasters and representatives of each of the above-mentioned departments announced the results of the various exams. Following that, Guru Vajradhara rewarded the top students, appointed additional teachers for some of the departments, introduced a code of discipline for the Monastic Primary School and gave an elaborate teaching on the importance of practicing virtue and abandoning non-virtue while always relying on mindfulness and awareness. He also talked about the fact that in the face of the present climate crisis, which affects the home of ourselves as well as of all living beings, each and every one of us has to take responsibility and do whatever we can to protect and preserve our environment.
