Introduction to Buddhism for Tibetan Students from Abroad

On August 4 2019, Guru Vajradhara the 12th Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa gave a teaching to young Tibetan students from Europe and America. The event took place at the Palpung Sherabling Monastic Seat and was requested and organised by the head office of the Tibetan Children's Village (TCV), with the Director of TCV also in attendance.

Guru Vajradhara spoke about how to develop interest in the preservation of Tibetan language and literature, as well as other elements of culture and heritage. He also spoke about the origins and significance of Tibetan Buddhism and gave some practical advice on how to practice Dharma.

Lama Tenam, the Executive Secretary to Guru Vajradhara, gave a brief introduction to the successive incarnations of the Tai Situpas and the establishment and history of the monastic seat of Palpung.
